Steven R. Wynn, DDS, MS
 
Dr. Wynn attended three years at Brigham Young University and was accepted early to the University of Southern California Dental School in 1982. He graduated from USC with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) in 1986. He also attended the University of Southern California graduate orthodontic residency program where he received a Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters of Science degree (M.S.) in craniofacial biology in 1990. 

Dr. Wynn is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics making him a member in the College of Diplomats of the American Board of Orthodontics.

In 1990, Dr. Wynn was honored to enter into the practice of orthodontics with Dr. Norm Von Herzen, who had practiced orthodontics for over 30 years in Newport Beach. Dr. Wynn first came to Newport Beach in 1971 when his father, Bob Wynn, was selected city manager of Newport Beach and served for over 20 years. Dr. Wynn attended Lincoln Middle School and graduated from Corona del Mar High School, so it has been a great experience for him working in the town that he grew up in.

Dr. Wynn is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Orange County Dental Society. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and the California Association of Orthodontists. As a member of the USC Orthodontic Alumni Association, Dr. Wynn has previously taught at USC Dental School. 

Dr. Wynn now lives near Corona del Mar High School with his wife, Janine, and four kids, Patrick, Nicholas, Kate and Laura. He competes regularly on a Senior Olympic Volleyball Team and in triathlons. When he is not at the office, he can be found surfing with his boys, attending church with his family, playing beach volleyball at Big Corona, swimming or running at the YMCA, skiing at Park City in the winter, and watching his kids and wife compete or perform.
