Braces

While there are many options today for orthodontic treatments, we focus on traditional braces.  We find that they’re most reliable and precise, provide the best solution with shorter treatment times, and most people find them easiest to wear. Dr. Wynn can help you determine which one will best suit your needs based on your activities and the type of treatment you need. Schedule your evaluation with him today.

Metal braces, made of high-grade stainless steel and attached to the front of teeth, are the most common. Silver-colored metal braces are the most common type of dental braces used in orthodontic therapy.

These brackets are made up of a mix of stainless steel, nickel, and other metals. This makes the brackets very durable to help prevent breakage.

Dr. Wynn has worked with his preferred bracket manufacturer to create a customized metal bracket combining the strength and best appearance of several brackets to provide patients with the best experience possible. These brackets are of the highest quality and made of the best materials, and allow for fewer appointments with much less discomfort.

Clear porcelain braces are worn on the front of the teeth just like traditional steel braces. Unlike metal braces, they blend with the color of the teeth for a much less noticeable appearance. After careful consideration of many products in his 25 years of experience, Dr. Wynn has found a porcelain bracket solution equivalent in strength and durability that can achieve the same results as metal braces.

The clear ceramic braces Dr. Wynn uses are smaller and feature rounded corners to reduce irritation and rubbing. The translucent material also blends in with the color of your teeth and will resist staining or discoloration during treatment, providing virtually unnoticeable treatment and allowing you to smile confidently.
